Better weather helps boost Tower result
Insurer claims it is now ‘vastly different’ than four years ago.
New Zealand insurer Tower appears to have turned a corner, reporting a full-year profit of $16.8 million after tax for the year ending September.
The result is an improvement on last year’s $6.7m loss, which was largely caused by a one-off reinsurance settlement.
