Comcom spreads higher levy over big four NZ telcos

Two of the smaller telcos will pay slightly less, while others pay more.

The Commerce Commission has only slightly tweaked its $50 million telco levy before finalising its decision for the 2018-19 period.

However, it also suggested next year may be the first time some broadcasting companies begin to pitch in to help cover the costs of non-commercially viable telco
