Company fined $306,000 after Zespri shares blame for quad bike death

Latest sentencing for a fatality under new health and safety laws.

Crop consultant Stevens & Stevens has been fined $306,000 after a 2016 quad bike accident in which a kiwifruit sampler died.

The company, formerly known as AgFirst Bay of Plenty, was also told to pay $75,000 in reparation.
