Dairy prices continue to rise in global auction

Benchmark whole milk powder surged 6.0%.

Prices surged for the seventh successive session in Fonterra’s latest Global Dairy Trade auction.

The index rose 3.3% to an average price of $US3309 a tonne, boosted by a 6.0% jump in benchmark whole milk powder to $US3186/t.
