Editorial changes at NBR

Transitional leadership team made up of Fiona Rotherham and Tim Hunter.

Fri, 21 Sep 2018

The National Business Review is announcing a new editorial leadership team.

Next week long-serving editor Duncan Bridgeman will depart to take up a senior role with another publication. His expertise, dedication and hard work have been of great value to NBR and he will be sorely missed.

However, NBR is fortunate to have strength in depth and is delighted to announce the appointment of senior journalists Tim Hunter and Fiona Rotherham as co-editors to lead its transition.

Fiona Rotherham is a former group business editor for Fairfax New Zealand, former editor of The Independent Business Weekly and Unlimited magazine.

Tim Hunter is a former deputy group business editor for Fairfax NZ and former business editor of the Sunday Star-Times.

To allow Tim and Fiona to return to their preferred frontline roles in future, NBR is continuing to discuss a permanent editorship appointment with a short list of outstanding International candidates.

NBR’s weekly print newspaper will be edited by editor-at-large Nevil Gibson.
