Global dairy prices keep creeping higher

Butter and cheese rise in latest auction.

Global dairy prices rose for the 10th successive session in Fonterra’s latest fortnightly auction though the momentum continues to slow.

The GDT index rose 0.5% to an average price of $US3447 a tonne after a 0.8% jump at the previous event. Prices have risen 23% this year.
