Large Westland shareholder cites moral reasons for non-vote on takeover

But Southern Pastures says the offer is fair.

Southern Pastures, the largest Westland Milk Products shareholder, has decided to not vote on a takeover offer by China’s Yili so as to give more power to West Coast suppliers whose livelihoods would be affected by the deal.
