Reserve Bank highlights unsustainable house prices

Clearest signal yet that prices will fall.

The Reserve Bank is predicting “unsustainable” house prices will start to fall from late 2022.   

“House prices in New Zealand have increased rapidly over the past year from an already elevated level,” the bank noted in today’s Monetary Policy Statement (MPS), with its forecasts
