Restaurant Brands buys 70 KFC stores in California

The $US73m deal is the first on the US mainland.

Restaurant Brands is adding 70 KFC franchise stores in Southern California to its international network.

The deal with a US franchisee is worth $US73 million and is subject to conditions, including Yum!, the parent franchisor, and landlord approval. It comprises 59 KFC stores and 11 combined KFC
