SkyCity gets OIO approval for Queenstown Hotel

SkyCity has been granted Overseas Investment Office approval for the site of its planned Queenstown hotel, four kilometres from the company’s casino.
The company bought the site at 633 Frankton Rd for $16 million.
OIO approved the transaction because the five-star hotel would create jobs
