Fri, 15 Nov 2019

Teknique, a global computer-vision company for consumer and commercial applications, has appointed Anna Davis to the newly created chief financial officer role.

Established in 2004, Teknique has offices in Munich, Seattle and Auckland, New Zealand.

Teknique’s off-the-shelf and bespoke camera solutions are sold to commercial customers globally through its OcleaTM range of System-on-Module (SoMs) and Sensee.ai, an intelligent IoT video platform.

Before joining Teknique, Anna was finance director at Rocket Lab as it transitioned from its R&D focus and head of finance for the $1.6 billion revenue Consumer division at Spark. Outside the technology sector Anna has held senior finance roles at Landcorp Farming and KPMG.

Davis said Teknique was at an exciting point in its growth, rapidly scaling up development and exploring new distribution channels while seeking to retain its core values of innovation and engineering curiosity. “

“Anna’s experience with early stage as well as complex established businesses, across diverse industries will significantly enhance our ability to scale up, and negotiate with our large customers and supply chain partners,” Ben Bodley, chief executive and founder, Teknique said.

A chartered accountant, Davis is on the board of YWCA Auckland (chairing the finance & risk committee), and belongs to the Institute of Directors. She is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington (BCom) and Auckland University’s Strategic CFO Programme.
