The move comes after Powerhouse Ventures quit its stake in the company.

Christchurch-based Upstream Medical Technologies raised $1.9 million in convertible notes in its latest fundraise from existing investor Pacific Channel and a small number of New Zealand-based wholesale investors.

The move follows Pacific Channel, an Auckland-based life sciences venture capital
