Lucy Wilson has started immediately.
VMLY&R has appointed Lucy Wilson regional director of human resources, Australia New Zealand.
Reporting directly to chief executive Australia New Zealand Jon Bird, Wilson has started immediately and is charged with bringing to life the agency’s regional People & Culture strategy in alignment with the global positioning.
Bird said Wilson’s appointment was key at a time when attracting and retaining the best talent had never been so important.
“With our Melbourne office doubling in size in recent months, the internal promotion of several team members plus an active hiring target in place, Lucy has her work cut out for her and she has hit the ground running,” he said.
Wilson will also work closely with VMLY&R’s US-based global executive director, human resources, Ronnie Felder.
With over 12 years of diverse HR experience in the marketing, adtech and professional services industries, Wilson was most recently director of people and culture at mobile adtech company, Leadbolt. Earlier, she was a national people and performance manager at Deloitte Australia, working with partners and their people to provide HR and people management solutions.
