Wall St rises despite Brexit woes as US pauses China tariffs

While Brexit talks cause turmoil again, US markets eye a late-week comeback.

US stocks gave up early losses to rise sharply after the Financial Times reported US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer told industry executives the next round of tariffs on Chinese imports has been put on hold, boosting Caterpillar shares by more than 4%.
