UK broker poaches from Jarden’s commodities team

Marex listed on the Nasdaq exchange last week, in an IPO valued at US$1.38b.

Jarden announced new leadership for its commodities team in December.

Jarden has confirmed the departures of seven members of its commodities trading team with at least four of them joining British commodities broker Marex, which appears to be setting up a new operation in Australasia.

Former Jarden head of commodities Nigel Brunel is currently on gardening leave
