Crafar appeal against Todd Corp solar farm fails

Former dairy farmer had argued the solar farm would hollow out the dairy industry.

Todd Corp has an existing 2.1MW solar plant at Kapuni in Taranaki.

Allan Crafar, a farmer whose dairying empire was crushed under a mountain of debt in 2009, has failed in his bid to challenge resource consent for a Todd Corporation solar farm.
