NZAX-listed A2 Corp Ltd has posted a post-tax loss of $2.19 million for the 12 months to June 30, which is says was a year of transition.
The loss is narrower than the $3.5 million loss in the 15 months ended June 30, 2009.
The company markets cows milk in which the content of a natural protein, beta-casein A2, has been naturally maximised. This is achieved by taking milk only from those cows that naturally produce milk containing the A2 beta-casein type.
The company said its operational loss of $640,596 compared to a budgeted loss of $1.29m.
