Ms Hart has served MPs on both sides of the House– Doug Graham for National and Margaret Wilson for Labour - and also did a stint at TelstraClear.
Ms Te Heuheu had something of a reputation of being difficult with staff when the party was in Opposition.
Losing the redoubtable Ms Hart – who, incidentally, we haven't spoken to – will not do anything to alleviate this reputation.
