On August 17 2021 at 11:59 pm, New Zealand moved from Alert Level 1 into an Alert Level 4 lockdown. Alert Level 4 will last for at least three days for most of New Zealand, while those in Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula will remain at Alert Level 4 for at least seven days.
