ANZ raises profit while losing market share

ANZ focuses on cutting costs.

ANZ Bank’s New Zealand arm is losing market share in both the dairy and housing markets but net profit has rebounded to a double-digit increase.

Net profit for the six months ended March rose 14% to $869 million, rebounding from the previous year’s 13% decline.
