This is a supplied media release

New Zealand’s leading statutory trust business, Perpetual Guardian, has made a senior appointment to its substantial philanthropy business, naming Annette Culpan as Philanthropy Services Manager.

Ms Culpan has an extensive background in philanthropy, business and the not-for-profit sector. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Philanthropy New Zealand and the Grief Centre Auckland. Ms Culpan co-leads an advisory group for the Vodafone Foundation, which she managed for nine years. She is also a strategic advisor to Social Enterprise Auckland and is on the design working group for the Social Enterprise World Forum to be held in Christchurch in 2017.

A primary focus for Ms Culpan will be the Perpetual Guardian Foundation, to which Perpetual Guardian founder Andrew Barnes is personally donating $500,000 in seed is funding – one of the reasons, Ms Culpan says, she was attracted to the role.
