It is the first time it has been held outside Australia.
Peter Alexander, general manager of property at Auckland Airport, says the conference provides an opportunity to share the vision for the Auckland Airport Business District.
Auckland Airport has 443ha of land available and has a development plan for more retail, commercial and entertainment projects.
The conference will be held at the airport’s Abbeville Estate.
NZX-listed Auckland International Airport recently announced plans to refurbish its shopping centre.
Wellington and Christchurch airports also have major development initiatives under way as income from property and car parking overtakes aeronautical activities.
