Aussie inflation at two-year low sends dovish message to RBA

Monthly inflation has almost halved since December 2022.

While overall inflation is lower, consumers are still paying high prices for electricity, insurance and housing rents.

Australia’s monthly inflation rate has fallen to a two-year low of 4.3%, a result which reinforces the view that the Reserve Bank of Australia is unlikely to hike interest rates again in the near future.
