EY cuts 232 Aussie jobs

EY is the second Big Four firm to announce redundancies this week, after PwC.

The cuts are at the EY Oceania division, but staff in New Zealand have been spared.

EY is the latest of the Big Four professional services firm to cut staff in Australia with the announcement that 232 jobs will be made redundant.

The cuts amount to about 2% of EY’s headcount of more than 10,000 in Australia, with the redundancies now bringing the recent job losses at the big four
