RBA hikes rates for second time this year
With the official interest rate differential with NZ now at 1.85%, the Australian dollar is at historic highs against the NZD.
The RBA board was split on the decision, with five in favour and four against.

The Reserve Bank of Australia has cited the “material risk” that inflation will remain above its target range for longer than expected in its decision to hike official rates by 25bps to 4.10% today.
