Lachlan Colquhoun

Lachlan joined the NBR in August 2023 as the Sydney-based Australian correspondent after a career spanning four decades writing for some of the world’s leading mastheads and media organisations.

He has reported from Australia for the London Evening Standard, the Financial Times, South China Morning Post and the Argus group in South Africa, and was based in Hong Kong in the early 2000s as the Evening Standard’s Asia business correspondent.

He has experience in radio and spent six years at the ABC as a current affairs producer and documentary maker.
