Joe Coughlan
Joseph Coughlan began his career in broadcasting working for Victoria University’s Salient TV, he then went on to host the iconic New Zealand children’s television show What Now?, before becoming a producer at Newstalk ZB, where he joins us from.
He studied a Bachelor of Broadcasting Communications from the New Zealand Broadcasting School in his hometown of Christchurch and also has a postgraduate certificate in Marketing from Victoria University.
Joseph comes from a family of well-respected broadcasters and journalists and has always been passionate about the creative arts, politics, and pop culture.
When he’s not working, Joe can be found playing tennis, training for marathons, attending live events, playing his guitar, and attempting to cook.
