Rob O’Neill

A former editor of Computerworld and the Sunday Star-Times business section, Rob O'Neill has been covering business and technology issues since the mid-1990s. A two-times Qantas award winner, Rob also spent several years as an IT industry principal analyst covering the Asia-Pacific region with Sydney-based Strategic Research, now Fairfax Business Research. He then joined the Sydney Morning Herald as deputy editor of its Next technology section before returning to New Zealand in 2005. He has written for ZDNet, currently writes news for IDG's Reseller News and has an MA in History from the University of Auckland.
