Calida Stuart-Menteath

Calida became co-editor in May 2022 and has been a journalist with NBR since mid-2014, predominantly covering capital markets. She won New Zealand Journalist of the Year in the 2021 Citi Journalism Awards for Excellence, and earlier won 2019’s Voyager business journalist of the year.

Calida holds arts and law degrees from the University of Otago, and a journalism post-grad diploma from AUT University. She's previously worked as a business reporter at Key Media and a court and political reporter at Cook Islands News.
