Award-winning journalist and broadcaster Susan Wood joined the NBR in February 2017. Susan started her media career in newspapers before moving to TVNZ where she had a series of firsts as Australia correspondent, host of Midday, Breakfast and Close Up; and for 16 years she was the regular stand in for Sir Paul Holmes on the Holmes show. Susan, who has an MBA from the University of Otago, also worked for many years as stand in host on Newstalk ZB’s Breakfast and Drive programmes.
