Banks lose fight over $55m of unpresented cheques
Banks will have to hand over unclaimed money to the government sooner than they would like.
The Supreme Court this morning ruled in favour of the Inland Revenue Department in a test case against Westpac, Bank of New Zealand and ANZ National Bank.
