BAYLEY family

Diversification has been the key to Bayley Corporation’s continued growth over the past year.

On the real estate agency front, Bayleys’ sales volumes were well ahead of industry averages in the financial year across the residential, commercial and industrial and rural property market sectors.

The company’s balance sheet benefited from both its national operations network, and substantial market shares across all real estate sectors.

The brand opened five new offices and the group also increased its shareholding in the regional franchise of Success Realty, which operates the Bayleys and Eves real estate brands in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions.

Meanwhile, the company’s property services division continued to be a strong revenue generator for the wider business and is now the largest commercial property manager in New Zealand.

Strategic alliances with other property industry leaders, such as Augusta, continue to see the company offer new fund and syndicated property investments to the wider New Zealand market.

With offices throughout New Zealand and Fiji, Bayley Corporation was founded in 1973 by the late Graham and Pam Bayley who opened their first real estate office in Papatoetoe. Now chaired by their son John and managed by grandson Mike, Bayleys proudly supports local schools, sports teams and not-for-profit organisations through the Bayleys Foundation, which is also an elite sponsorship partner for Make-a-Wish New Zealand.
