Bayleys agencies in central North island have joined forces.
The franchises of Bayleys Hawke’s Bay, Bayleys Whanganui and Manawatu, and Bayleys Wairarapa, have formed a new agency.
It will be called Coast to Coast.
The offices were owned by Gary Brooks, Glyn Rees-Jones and Cathedral Lane Ltd in Hawke’s Bay; Mark Morison in Wairarapa; and Pete Stratton and Karl Cameron in Manawatu, Whanganui and Ruapehu.
Each franchise will take up a shareholding in the new Coast to Coast company.
Bayleys Realty Group executive director David Poole said the dynamics of real estate marketing have changed in the past decade.
Instead of focusing marketing on their immediate areas, real estate agencies now needed to market properties nationally and internationally.
There was also greater recognition that farm owners may have residential and commercial property interests and vice versa.
Bayleys has 60 and claims dominant market shares across rural, commercial, industrial, and high-end residential property sectors.
The Bayleys offices in Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, and Manawatu/Whanganui would retain their existing premises and more than 100 sales staff.
