​​Bell Gully is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Becke, senior associate, who has joined our leading national property and real est​​​​ate team. Ian will be based in our Auckland office.

Ian is an experienced infrastructure, construction and property development lawyer who has advised both public and private sector clients on a range of significant projects and transactions in New Zealand and Australia, including public private partnerships (PPPs). He advises clients on all stages of their projects, from conception through to development, management and ultimately, divestment.

In Australia, Ian acted for the Australian Government on the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal Project (a nationally significant infrastructure project) and the NSW Government on the early stages of the CBD and South East Light Rail PPP. He also acted for KPMG as anchor tenant on the development and lease of new premises in Sydney and Melbourne.  

In New Zealand, Ian has advised on a range of major projects (including PPPs), commercial property developments and transactions and general commercial matters.
