Bell Gully announces Philip Leightley was promoted to Senior Associate as at 1 July 2016.

Philip advises clients on capital markets transactions, private acquisitions and general corporate compliance. He has been involved in some of the largest recent capital markets transactions in New Zealand, including the Mighty River Power and Meridian initial public offerings (IPOs).
Recent work highlights include advising SKYCITY Entertainment Group on their NZ$263 million accelerated entitlement offer and working with Fletcher Building on the acquisition of construction company, Higgins Group. He has also undertaken secondments with Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation and SKYCITY Entertainment Group, advising them on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
Philip started his career with Bell Gully and returned from leading London law firm Slaughter and May in late 2015.
