The New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) is refusing to accept the decision of a Building Disputes Tribunal adjudicator as evidence against its immediate past president Jeremy Shearer.

Mr Shearer was the quantity surveyor and engineer on the project to refurbish the Balclutha
