ASB thanks the solid economy for 10% profit lift

ASB Bank says annual net profit rose 10% to nearly $1.2 billion, underpinned by New Zealand’s strong economy.

The bank’s net interest earnings grew at a strong 10.2% while it contained growth in costs to 5.4% in the 12 months ended June.
