ComCom clears terminated Verifone-Smartpay deal
Smartpay says approval clears the way should a future deal be struck.
Verifone’s terminated plan to snap up Smartpay’s New Zealand business has been given the Commerce Commission’s blessing.
The US-based payments provider is clear to acquire its NZX-listed target for $70 million in cash should a new deal be agreed after the regulator greenlit the proposed
