ComCom gives initial thumbs down to proposed Bremworth sale
It’s not satisfied the proposed acquisition by the owners of Godfrey Hirst would not substantially lessen competition in the market.
Bremworth said the intial findings of the commission doesn't mean it will turn down the deal.
Bremworth’s planned scheme of arrangement to sell the carpet marker to the owners of Godfrey Hirst has hit a potential snag.
One of the hurdles of the deal includes clearance from the Commerce Commission which has indicated in a statement of issues that it is not satisfied the proposed acquisition
