Court blocks CBL Insurance deal
Transaction with Gibraltar firm beyond interim liquidators’ powers, says judge.

The High Court has rejected a proposal by the interim liquidators of CBL Insurance seeking to pay out 85% of its cash, plus certain other assets, to get rid of its biggest reinsurance liabilities.
