Dairy price slip ends months of gains
Index still at seven year high despite stumble.

Runaway dairy commodity prices faltered overnight as the fortnightly Global Dairy Trade auction left the GDT price index down 3.8% on the previous event.
The slip ended a period of eight consecutive gains at the auction and followed a 15% gain at the previous event on March 2.
