Dairy prices post modest gain
Fonterra due to provide third quarter update tomorrow.

The index of dairy prices rose in the latest GlobalDairyTrade auction with skim milk powder one of the main gainers.
Results from the auction overnight pushed the index up 1% to 902. Skim milk powder was up 6.7% to $US2549 a tonne, while whole milk powder fell 0.5% to $US2677 a tonne.
