‘Disappointed but undeterred’: Mānuka trademark unsuccessful
The Intellectual Property Office has opposed the trademark bid.

New Zealand's honey industry is not buzzing that attempts to trademark m ānuka h oney have been declined.
This morning the intellectual property office of New Zealand (IPONZ) published its decision and refused the application to register ‘MANUKA HONEY’ as a certification mark.
