Equities rally as sentiment swings again

Seesawing equity markets bounced back overnight with some stocks possibly benefiting from perceived positive news on oil prices and a pending US stimulus programme.
London’s FTSE100 closed up 2.3% at 5770 while the S&P500 was up 2.5% at 2805 by mid afternoon in New York.
