A subsidiary of a publicly traded Japanese meat company has received approval to acquire a South Island meat processing company, owned by local smallgoods maker Verkerks.

Toitu Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand reported SFJ Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of S Foods Inc, was granted consent
