Low rainfall dampens Mercury's bottom line

A second consecutive year of unfavourable hydrology and an unplanned plant outage have dampened Mercury’s bottom line by a third.
The listed generator-retailer reported net profit of $141 million for the year ended June 30 – down 33% on the previous corresponding period.
