Mixed fortunes as retail spending recovers
Paymark data shows supermarkets continuing to outperform.

Data from eftpos systems provider Paymark show a significant lift in consumer retail spending as New Zealand moved from Covid-19 alert level 4 down to level 2.
However, some retailers did better than others.
In the week to May 17, spending at supermarkets, liquor outlets and pharmacies was up
