More sales, better weather boosts Meridian’s interim earnings

More sales, wind and rain have helped Meridian Energy post record interim earnings of $465 million for the six months to December 31.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, amortisation and financial instruments (ebitdaf) jumped a fifth from $389m the previous corresponding period.
