News Corp crown goes to Lachlan

Rupert Murdoch’s eldest son will take control of his media empire in a settlement of the family’s feud.

A legal battle over the legacy of media mogul Rupert Murdoch has been resolved, with his son Lachlan gaining control of the Murdoch shares in News Corp and Fox Corporation.

An outline of the settlement was provided in a statement by News Corp, which said trustees and beneficiaries of the Murdoch
