Outages, drought constrain Genesis full-year result
Power company’s bottom line takes $13m hit.
Genesis Energy has attributed a $13 million hit on the bottom line to multiple outages, drought conditions, and Covid-19.
The listed power company posted net profit of $46m for the year to June 30, down 22% on last year. Earnings of $356m fell 4% from the previous financial year.
